Note-
- The candidate needs to show the SSC marks sheet or any other Educational certificate as proof of age.
- If there is no Educational Certificate the candidate needs to show the Birth Certificate or Category Certificate as proof of age.
- No age relaxation is allowed for SC/ST/OBC candidates who belong to the non-creamy layer.
- PWD candidates who are applying against the UR category will be allowed age relaxation applicable to General PwD candidates.

Nationality Criteria as per EPFO SSA Eligibility
Nationality is the first aspect seen by the higher authorities. The candidate must be
- An Indian citizen or
i)A Subject from Nepal or
ii)A Subject From Bhutan or
iii) A Tibetian who came over India before 1st January 1962 who was intended to settle in India Permanently.
iv)The candidates who are migrated from Pakistan, Srilanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia Ethiopia, Vietnam, Burma with the intention of settling in India permanently.
Note- For candidates, i, ii, iii, iv; an eligibility certificate should be issued from the government.

Verification of Original Certificates
- Candidates must take note that all the certificates required as per the eligibility criteria must be honest. Once the candidates are shortlisted for the Document verification stage they will be asked to produce the original certificates of the same.
- Documents to be brought by candidates in original (as applicable) for verification are as indicated below:- i. Matriculation/X Class/High School Examination Certificate or Equivalent certificate as Proof for Date of Birth. (The candidates’ names and the father/ mothers’ names mentioned in the application will be verified with reference to the names mentioned in this certificate.) ii. Degree from a recognized university or equivalent (As applicable). iii. SC/ST certificate in the format as per Annexure -VI. iv. OBC-NCL certificate in the format as per Annexure – I (not older than one year from the date of document verification)
- Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC candidates as per Annexure IA vi. Income & Asset certificate for Economically Weaker Section Annexure-VII vii. Original discharge certificate for Ex-servicemen. viii. Medical Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per Annexures – IV, IV(A) & IV(B) as applicable. ix. Certificate for persons having physical limitations to write, and Scribe / Passage Dictator is essential for examination as per Annexure-IV(C). x. Self-declaration for Ex-servicemen as per Annexure-III xi. No Objection Certificate from serving employees with the date of appointment. xii. A legal document in case of formal change of name viz. their original marriage certificate/affidavit in original etc. xiii. Decree of divorce/judicial separation from the competent Court of Law as applicable and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried. xiv. Ex-Servicemen candidates who secure civil employment after applying for this notice should give self-declaration to the concerned employer about the details of application against this notice, as soon as they join. The acknowledged copy of this declaration along with NOC from the civil employer should be produced during document verification.

Phase I - Computer Based Exam
The first stage of the EPFO SSA selection process is a computer-based examination. A rundown of the online examination is given below for the candidates to have a thorough understanding of the test.

Phase II - Computer Skill Test (Computer Data Entry Test)
In the EPFO SSA Selection Process, candidates will have to give a Skill Test to prove how fast and accurately they can do data entry work. They will be required to type at least 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer. This corresponds to 10500 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) or 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word for Data Entry Work. Only the candidates who are shortlisted for the Skill Test will have to give the test.
The final selection of candidates is based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Exam and the computer skill test. Process for Arriving at Scores
In the EPFO SSA Selection Process, if the examination is held in multiple sessions, it is possible that the difficulty level of the question paper may vary across the different sessions.
