UPSSSC Cartographer Exam Details 2026

The candidates who clear all the selection rounds with more than the UPSSSC Cartographer Cut off will be selected for the post of Cartographer. The annual UPSSSC Cartographer salary will range from Rs. 3,50,400/- to Rs. 11,07,600/- as per Pay Matrix Level-5.

After the candidates get selected for the post of UPSSSC Cartographer, they will receive various benefits and allowances provided by the UPSSSC commission. The allowances given to the employees are:

• Dearness Allowance
• House Rent Allowance
• Traveling Allowances
• Medical Allowances
• Bonus and more

The candidates who fulfill the UPSSSC Cartographer Eligibility Criteria, and get selected for the post, the pay scale for them will be around Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/- per month along with a grade pay of Rs. 2,800/-. The candidates are also entitled to receive various allowances based on the pay matrix level 5 as per the 7th pay commission.

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has not mentioned the probation period in the previous official notification released for the post of Cartographer. The candidates can further check this page for updates regarding the same.

Before applying for the exam, candidates must meet the UPSSSC Cartographer eligibility for educational qualification criteria. The candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university/institute along with the following other requirements:

• It is necessary to have passed the High School examination of the Council of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh or any other examination recognized equivalent to it by the Government.
• Must possess any one of the following qualifications:

Certificate in Cartography from Roorkee University,

Cartography by the State Council of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh Certificate awarded, 

Three years certificate in cartography from Banaras Hindu University,

Three years Diploma in Architectural Assistantship awarded by the Government Art College, Lucknow;

Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Council for Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh,

Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by any other institution recognized by the Government.

Ministry of Labor and Employment; Certificate in Cartography granted by the National Council of Vocational Training, run entirely by the Labor Department, to the trainees of the Industrial Training Institute, Government of India,

Two and a half years certificate in Cartography from Aligarh University.

Preferential Qualification: According to Part-4 Rule-9 of Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department Drawing Establishment Service Rules, 2000, other conditions being equal, preference will be given to such a candidate who:

• Must have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 02 years,

or

• Must have obtained B certificate of National Cadet Corps.

According to the guidelines, an applicant must be a citizen of India in order to be eligible for the Recruitment process 2025.

There is no limit to the number of attempts a candidate may make for the UPSSSC Cartographer exam according to the guidelines and instructions. A candidate may apply for the position as many times as he or she wishes until they reach the maximum age limit and meet all of the other UPSSSC Cartographer Eligibility Conditions.
