The in-hand UKPSC Forest Guard salary will be according to the 7th Pay Commission. For a recruit, the pay scale is Rs.21, 700 – Rs.69, 100/- per month.

These UKPSC Forest Guard eligibility criteria include the age, educational qualification, physical standards, and nationality of the applicants. The details of the same are provided in the following sub-sections. Candidates who do not meet these requirements will be disqualified from the selection.

The age of the applicants must be between 18 to 28 years. The age relaxations for applicants belonging to reserved categories are as prescribed below.

To be eligible for recruitment as Uttarkhand Forest Guard, the applicant must have completed Intermediate/class 12th  from a recognized board of education. Preference will be given to candidates who possess either of the following qualifications/experience

• At least 2 years of experience in the Territorial Army
• NCC Core B or C Certificate.

The candidates must satisfy the following physical standards to be eligible for the Forest Guard post under the UKPSC.

• 152 cm for males
• 145 cm for females.

Candidates appearing for the UKPSC Forest Guard exam should be Indian citizens. Candidates from all over the country can apply for the post if they fulfill all other Uttarakhand Forest Guard eligibility criteria. Also, those who fulfill any of the following nationality criteria can apply.

• Subjects of Nepal
• Bhutan Tibetan Refugee living in India since January 1962
• Person of Indian Origin settled permanently in India from countries like Pakistan, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Burma, and Other East African countries like Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, etc.
