MP Vyapam AEO Exam Details 2026

Once you successfully clear the MP Vyapam AEO examination, you will be entitled to a lucrative salary structure along with other allowances as decided by the government. Candidates who successfully clear all the stages under the MP Vyapam AEO Exam Pattern are eligible to receive the official annual salary package as decided upon by the Board (MPEB). The annual salary structure of an Agricultural Extension Officer ranges from Rs.3 lakhs to Rs 9.6 lakhs.

The monthly in-hand MP Vyapam AEO salary that a candidate receives upon scoring more than the MP Vyapam AEO cut-off marks ranges between Rs.25,300/- to Rs. 80,500/-. This official figure is decided upon by the recruiting body and is subject to change once the candidate completes the compulsory probationary period.

The salary slip for every candidate is released every month by the Board so that everyone is updated about their salary structure including several reductions (if applicable) and the addition of other allowances. This monthly salary slip must be kept accessible at all times because it proves to be extremely useful if a candidate is looking to avail of personal loans, home loans or for other personal purposes.

The list of candidates who have qualified for the MP Vyapam AEO examination are compulsorily required to go through a probationary period of three years. The salary structure during the three year probation period will be as follows:

• Candidates will receive 70% of the minimum salary of that post in the first year of the job.
• Candidates will receive 80% of the minimum salary of that post in the second year of the job.
• Candidates will receive 90% of the minimum salary of that post in the third year of the job.

Once the candidate is properly assessed during the probation period, he or she is then eligible to receive promotions and salary increments.

Once the candidate completes his or her probationary period of three years and is assessed by the officials properly, they will be entitled to receive a promotion in their job post or an increment in their salary or both. Similarly, they will also be entitled to receive a hike in travelling allowances, housing allowances and more. Furthermore, it will add to their resume and will be extremely beneficial for their personal uses.

A candidate appearing for the MP Vyapam AEO examination must have a minimum age of 18 years. The maximum age limit of the candidates should be 40 years. • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture, Science, B.Sc/BSC AG/B.Tech AG, Masters Degree, Master’s Degree in Agriculture/B.Tech Agriculture Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution or university.

In order to appear for the MP Vyapam AEO examination, a candidate must meet all the eligibility requirements including the ones mentioned below:

• Must be a citizen of India

A candidate can take an infinite number of attempts at the MP Vyapam AEO examination. However, this infinite number of attempts is subjected to only until the candidate reaches his or her upper age limit and fulfils all the other MP Vyapam AEO eligibility criteria.
