• As per the present guidelines, the annual JKPSC Assistant Professor Salary Package on average is Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 per month.
• Once certain points are considered, the candidates will start receiving Rs. 57,000/-. The candidates who are selected as Assistant Professor will start receiving their allowances only after the successful completion of the training period.
• The candidates should make sure that they complete the employment duties on time and perform well during the training period to get permanent appointment in the commission.

Being recruited for the post of JKPSC Assistant Professor means taking up various responsibilities. Thus, it is important for the candidate to have the required qualification. The details of the JKPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility for educational qualification are as follows:

D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standard and Procedure for the award of PhD Degrees Regulations), 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET. <br> d) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted |

a) Graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost & Works Accountant/Company Secretary of the concerned/statutory bodies with 60% marks (55% excluding any grace marks, in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled/Visually differently abled) Categories/Ph.D degree holders, who have obtained their Masters Degree prior to 19th September 1991)

Desirable:

a) Teaching, research, industrial and/or Professional experience in a reputed organization;

b) Papers presented at Conference and/or published in referred journals.

Candidates must be a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and must be able to produce the Certificate of Domicile in order to prove their JKPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility for nationality. The certificate must be issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format as on the last date of the submission of application form.

The candidates can apply for the post multiple times until they attain the maximum age limit. The commission has not put any restriction on the number of times one can appear for the exam to get selected for the JKPSC Assistant Professor Job Profile.

As per the JKPSC Assistant Officer Eligibility, candidates applying for the post in BBA/MBA, they can apply if they have the below given desirable qualification, which will be counted as experience:
