IIFCL Assistant Manager Exam Details 2026

Once you successfully clear the IIFCL Assistant Manager examination, you will be entitled to a lucrative salary along with other allowances as decided upon by the government from time to time. The salary will be around Rs 3.37 lakhs to Rs. 9.6 lakhs which will be subjected to an increment every year upon successful selection of the candidate.

In addition to the basic IIFCL Assistant Manager salary, candidates will also be entitled to the following allowances:

• Besides Gross Salary as per the pay scale given above, the post indicated above shall carry other facilities like Leased accommodation facility (in lieu of HRA), Gratuity, leave fare concession, leave encashment, Reimbursement of medical expenses, Conveyance facility, mobile, residential telephone, newspaper, household expenses, mobile handset charges, children education etc. and other loans as per IIFCL Staff Service Regulations & Rules of the Company amended from time to time. The approximate cost to the company for an Assistant Manager Grade A is Rs. 18 lakhs.
• Candidates possessing JAIIB/CAIIB/professional qualification may be given an additional one/two increment in the pay scale stated above / as per company’s policy. The management may consider granting further maximum two increments in the scale of pay fixed for the Grade in which the appointment is proposed to be made, in the case of deserving candidates. Management reserves the right with reference to grant of additional increments on the above two counts.

The monthly in-hand salary for the post of IIFCL Assistant Manager has been announced and is subject to change once the candidate completes the compulsory probationary period and receives promotion or salary increment. However, the candidate will receive a salary in the range of around Rs 28,150/- to Rs 80,000/-

The salary slip for every appointed candidate is released every month by the Office of the Inspector General of Prisons so that every employee is updated about their salary structure including several reductions (if applicable) and addition of other allowances. This monthly salary slip is very important and must be kept accessible at all times because it proves to be extremely useful if a candidate is looking to avail of personal loans, home loans or for other personal purposes.

The selected candidates will have to undergo a probation period of fixed duration. The period of probation may be extended at the discretion of the recruiting authority, if required. If the performance of the candidate is not found satisfactory during the period of probation, his service will be terminated.

Once the candidate completes his or her compulsory probationary period and is assessed by the officials properly, they will be entitled to receive a promotion in their job post or an increment in their salary or both. Furthermore, it will add on to their resume and will be extremely beneficial for their future personal uses.

A candidate appearing for the IIFCL Assistant Manager examination must have a minimum age of 21 years. The maximum age limit for this post is 30 years as on 28th February 2023.
