Overview
OICL AO Eligibility 2025 has been released by the Oriental Insurance Company Limited, one of the reputed public sector general insurance agencies in India. It invites online applications every year to hire eligible candidates as OICL AO at different fields, (Administrative Officers in Scale I ). There are certain eligibility requirements to be fulfilled by the candidates to be able to apply online. In case they fail to meet the prescribed requirements, they will not be able to move further in the selection process.
- The minimum age of the candidates must be 21 years whereas the maximum age must be 30 years.
- The candidates must be Indian citizens to be eligible for recruitment.
- The basic educational requirement is a bachelor’s/master's degree, in the relevant fields.
- Age relaxation facilities are available for the candidates who belong to the reserved category like SC/ST candidates are given 5 years of upper age relaxation.

OICL AO Educational Qualification 2025
To be eligible for recruitment at the respective posts at OICL, it is significant to meet the prescribed guidelines as provided by the conducting body. The educational qualifications are variable depending upon the posts, graduation degree being the minimum requirement. The exact list is tabulated below. Note
1: Qualifications that are stated above, must be from a recognized Indian University, duly approved by UGC or any reputed institute duly approved by AICTE.
2: Candidates with experience in the respective field post-qualification, are given priority. In this regard, the company is the only decider.
3: It is mandatory for the candidates to produce a relevant mark sheet/education certificate issued from the institution during the interview/document verification or subsequent stage of the selection.
4: Percentage of the marks secured by the candidates are printed in decimals on the mark sheet. Like, in the case of 59.99% it will be considered as less than 60%.

OICL AO Age Limit 2025
To be eligible for the Oriental Insurance Company AO recruitment, candidates’ minimum age must be 21 years whereas the maximum age must be 30 years. The age of the candidates must meet the given guidelines on the first day of the month when the recruitment process starts.
OICL AO Age Relaxation
Age relaxation facilities are available to the candidates of the reserved categories. The relaxation is on the upper age limit. Check the details below in the table.

Note
1: For any candidate who is eligible for more than one relaxation in any of the above-mentioned categories, then the relaxation will be available on a cumulative basis, and the original age must not cross 45 years.
2: Candidates who seek upper age relaxation, must produce relevant and original documents at the time of verification or subsequent stage of the selection process.
3: If a person with a disability is entitled to age concession by the fact of being already an employee at the Public Sector General Insurance Companies, then the relaxation is admissible as either’ A Person with Disability’ or ‘An existing Employee of the Public Sector General Insurance (GIC)’, whichever he considered to be more beneficial.
4:No reservation is available for the ex-servicemen in the officer’s cadre.

Guidelines for Persons with Disabilities Using a Scribe
The visually impaired candidates and applicant’s whose writing speed are adversely affected permanently for any cause are permitted to use their own scribe at their cost during the online examination. In all such cases where a scribe is used, the following rules will be taken into consideration:
- The candidate must arrange his / her own scribe at his/her own cost.
- The scribe should be from an academic stream different from that stipulated for the post. A Generalist post scribe can be from any of the academic streams.
- Both the candidate and scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking confirming that the scribe is meeting all the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe mentioned above.
Further, in case it later transpired that he/she did not fulfil any prescribed eligibility criteria or suppressed material facts the candidature of the applicant will be immediately rejected.
- Those candidates who use a scribe are eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes.
- The scribe arranged by the candidate should not be a candidate for the examination. If violation of the above is spotted at any stage of the selection phase, candidature for CWE of both the candidate and the scribe will be cancelled.
- Candidates eligible for and who wish to use the services of a scribe in the examination should be aware to indicate the same during online registration. Any subsequent request will not be entertained.
Only candidates registered for compensatory time are allowed such concessions as, compensatory time given to candidates shall be system-based, it shall not be possible for the test conducting agency to allow such time if he/she is not registered for the same.
Candidates not registered for compensatory time shall not be allowed such concessions.
(i) Guidelines for candidates with locomotor disability and cerebral palsy Compensatory time of twenty minutes per hour or otherwise advised are eligible for the candidates with locomotor disability and cerebral palsy where dominant (writing) extremity is affected to the extent of slowing the performance of function (minimum of 40% impairment).
(ii) Guidelines for Visually Impaired candidates (who suffer from not less than 40% of disability) can view the contents of the test in magnified font and these applicants will be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes or otherwise advised for every hour of examination.

OICL AO Allowances 2025
