DRDO MTS Exam Details 2026

DRDO is a reputed organisation that offers its employees various opportunities and career aspects. It also offers special pay scales to its employees. Applicants selected after the exam will be paid a salary based on the matrix level as per the 7th pay commission. Although the DRDO MTS Salary & Job Profile 2024 is not announced yet. As discussed earlier, the DRDO MTS Recruitment 2024 will be expected to receive a basic salary of Rs. 18,000- 22,000 per month. The culmination of basic salary and dearness allowance becomes the monthly in-hand salary of the MTS employees. The DRDO MTS in-hand salary is Rs. 22,500 to 25,830 /- per month. This also includes the Grade pay (rupees 1800). The grade pay is different for different places and different sectors.

After every payment cycle, the DRDO MTS employees receive the salary slip of their previous month’s salary. This salary slip document contains all the details of the last month’s deductions and allowances for each employee in DRDO MTS. You can use it to avail yourself of loans and also use it while filling out your annual Income Tax form.

There is a minimum and maximum age limit requirement set by the DRDO.

• Maximum Age: 25 Years

The age relaxation set for DRDO MTS Recruitment 2024 are:

• The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBCNCL/ESM/PWD/WIDOWS/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried,
• For Central Govt Civilian Employees,
• For Disabled Defence Services Personnel,
• Persons Domiciled In J&K State during the period from 01st January 1980 to 31st December 1989 as per extant Govt. of India rules.
