Bihar Special Teacher Eligibility for Classes 1-5

The applicant should have qualified BSSTET Paper I and have either of the following educational qualifications:

• Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and D.El.Ed in Special Education from a recognised institute
• D.El.Ed Certificate/Diploma in Special Education from an institute recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, which is equivalent to D.El.Ed in Special Education, with a valid CRR number from the Rehabilitation Council of India.

Bihar Special Teacher Eligibility for Classes 6-8

To be eligible for Special Teachers of classes 6-8, the applicants must have qualified BSSTET Paper II and completed one of the following qualfiications:

• Graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. and B.Ed in Special Education.
• B.Ed with a certificate/diploma from an institute recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, which is equivalent to B.Ed in Special Education and a valid CRR number from the Rehabilitation Council of India. (b) 06 months teaching training in the field of inter-disability.
