The Bank of Baroda PO gross annual package on joining the Bank will be approximately INR 8 lacs (including perquisites) in the Metropolitan Centres. In addition to this, the probationary officers will be entitled to various benefits/ perquisites, bank facilities like several reimbursements, concessional loan facilities for different purposes, LTC / LFC, holiday home, medical facilities for self, and dependents, etc.

The Bank of Baroda PO Salary structure attracts a lot of applicants for recruitment. The pay scale is INR 23700-980 x 7/30560-1145 x 2/32850-1310 x 7/42020.

Also, the BOB PO will receive the basic pay of INR 23,700/- and after one year, he/she will get an increment of INR 980. This increment will be done 7 times till the basic pay reaches INR 30,560.

After which the candidate will be eligible to receive an increment of INR 1,145 for two more years After they reach a salary of INR 32,850, then after the two years, the increment will increase to INR 1310 for the next 7 years till their salary reaches INR 42,020/-.

In addition to this, the probationary officers are also eligible for additional allowances including DA, HRA, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance, Accident Insurance, and LTC, etc.

• The selected candidates will have to undergo a nine months campus program and on the successful completion of the course, the candidates will be awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Banking and Finance.
• On successful completion of the PostGraduate Certificate course, the candidate would be offered an appointment in the Bank as PO in JMG/S-I and can be posted anywhere in India as per the decision of the Bank.
• Immediately after joining, the candidates will have to undergo a three months Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in the form of On the Job Training at any branch of Bank of Baroda which will lead to the award of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance by Manipal university.
• The course is extendable to a further 18 months of blended learning which is optional for the students and which will lead to the award of an MBA in Banking and Finance from Manipal University.

• According to the previous year’s Bank of Baroda PO Eligibility Criteria, a degree (Graduation) with a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD) marks in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• The graduation percentage and class will be calculated as per the University norms for calculation of percentage and declaration of class/ results.
• The graduation percentage/ class as appearing in the Final Year/ semester / consolidated mark-sheet & Provisional / Degree Certificate will be taken into consideration for eligibility.

A candidate must be either

• a Citizen of India or
• a subject of Nepal or
• a subject of Bhutan or
• a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
