The minimum age limit to apply for the post of Army Havildar SAC is 20 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years. There will be a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit for in-service candidates.

The educational qualifications are common for In-service and Civil Candidates. The minimum educational qualifications required for the post of Army Havildar (SAC) are as follows:

• BA/B.Sc with Mathematics, having passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Science and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognized Board/ University.

The candidates will have to satisfy the following medical standards to be eligible:

• The candidate should have a good physique and mental health. The chest should have a minimum 5 cm expansion and be well developed, should have normal hearing with each ear, should have a sufficient number of natural teeth- 14 dental points with healthy gums.
• Candidates must not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele, varicose veins, or piles.
• In-service candidates must be in the medical category SHAPE-1. These candidates will be exempted from recruiting medical examinations at the time of the recruiting rally. A certificate would be required showing the medical category signed by the Army Medical Authority where an individual is posted and countersigned by the Commanding Officer of the unit.

The candidate applying for the post of Army Havildar SAC must be a citizen of India to be eligible for the post as per the Army Havildar SAC eligibility.

The Army Havildar SAC eligibility 2025 allows the candidates to take as many attempts as they want to after reaching the minimum age limit and till they cross the maximum age limit, i.e., 25 years for civilian candidates and 28 years for In-service candidates.
