The UPPSC GIC Lecturer post has a pay scale of Level 8 in the Uttar Pradesh Pay Matrix, which corresponds to a pay band of 9300-34800 with a grade pay of 4800. This pay scale is equivalent to 47,600-1,51,100 in the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay scale.

The starting basic pay for a new UPPSC GIC Lecturer is Rs. 9300 with a grade pay of Rs. 4800. Their total monthly salary, including allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and others, is estimated to be around Rs. 76,000-81,000. According to the previous year’s notification, the candidate needs to be an Indian national. The candidates must possess the required documents to support their nationality claims.

There is no limit on the Number of Attempts to apply for the UPPSC GIC Lecturer. Candidates can apply for the UPPSC GIC Lecturer post as often as they want until they reach the upper age limit according to the previous year’s notification.

According to the previous year’s notification, the recruitment body prefers candidates with the below-mentioned prior experience for the post. The recruitment body doesn’t require the experience mandatorily but prefers the candidates who possess them.

• Must have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years

• Must have obtained a "B" certificate from the National Cadet Corps
