UPPSC Agriculture Service Exam Details 2026

The UPPSC Agriculture Services posts have been categorized into different pay scales based on their level and responsibilities. As per the official notification, the pay scale for the posts ranges from Level 7 Pay Matrix Rs. 44900-142400 to Level 10 Pay Matrix Rs. 56100–177500. The grade pay associated with these levels is Rs. 4600 for Level 7 and Rs. 5400 for Level 10 posts as per the 7th Pay Commission. The higher grade pay implies higher salary for more senior roles. The grade pay is an important component used along with the basic pay to determine the total gross salary of the candidates appointed under UPPSC Agriculture Services.

As per the information given in the official notification, the monthly salary that a candidate can expect after being appointed under UPPSC Agriculture Services ranges from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,77,500. The exact salary will depend on the level of the post and the candidates placement in the specified pay matrix. For example, a candidate at the starting level of 7th Pay Matrix (Level 7, Rs. 44,900) will get a monthly salary of Rs. 44,900. The UPPSC Agriculture Service Eligibility Criteria states that only the citizens of India can apply for the post of UPSSC Agricultural Services. Candidates from all over the country are eligible to apply for the UPSSC Agricultural Services post, however, they must fulfill other mandatory requirements such as the required educational qualifications, age limit, etc. Applications from candidates who cannot show proof of citizenship of India will not be entertained.
