UP Junior High School Teacher Exam Details 2026

The candidates selected for the Junior High School Teacher posts will be paid as per the rules of the Basic Education Board. The candidates after completing their probation period will be paid an annual UP aided Junior High School Teacher salary package of INR 5,38,800/- to INR 17,08,800/-. They will also be eligible for various allowances and benefits as per their job role.

Candidates who clear the written examination with marks equivalent to the UP Junior High School Teacher cut off marks will be called to join the department either as Assistant Teacher or Principal. The probation period for the candidates is not yet announced by the board. During this period, they will be working closely with the board on a temporary basis. Once the candidate completes the probation period successfully, he/she will be placed as a permanent employee in the respective department.

The candidate should be a permanent domicile of Uttar Pradesh. Other than this, they must have spent at least 5 years in the state. Candidates should have relevant documents to prove their eligibility to appear in the merit list.
