As per the UKSSSC Draftsman Eligibility Criteria, the age of the applicants must be within the following age limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 42 years

The upper age limit shall be relaxed for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. The category-wise details of age relaxation are as follows

As per the UKSSSC Draftsman Eligibility Criteria, candidates must have either of the following qualifications:

• Three year Diploma in Civil Engineering given by State Council of Technical Education, Uttarakhand. Diploma in Civil Engineering given by any other institution recognized by the Government.
• Certificate in Cartography given by the State Council of Technical Education, Uttarakhand. Certificate in Cartography given by Roorkee University.
• Three year certificate in Cartography given by Banaras Hindu University.
• Two and a half year certificate in Cartography given by Aligarh Muslim University.
• Certificate of cartography given by the National Employment Council, Government of India, by the Ministry of Labor to the trainees of the industrial training institutions run by the Labor Department

The candidate must be either a Citizen of India or

• a Tibetan refugee who migrated before 1st January 1962
• an Indian Origin Person migrated permanently from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania
