The Kannada Language Test is qualifying in nature. Details of the KPSC JE Exam Pattern for the same are as follows:

• The exam will be conducted for 150 marks.
• The minimum qualifying marks for this test are 50.
• The question paper will be prepared with reference to Kannada as the first language at the SSLC level as the standard.

As per the UKPSC JE Eligibility Criteria, candidates must fulfil either of the following nationality criteria:

• The candidate must be an Indian national.
• He/she must be a Tibetan refugee who migrated for permanent settlement in India before 1st January 1962
