UJVNL AE Exam Details 2026

The UJVNL is expected to release multiple posts in the 2023 recruitment cycle. The work profile of all the posts is different. However, because the recruiting department is the same therefore all the selected candidates will be provided training by the UJVNL. The candidates who belong to the General category have to be within the age limit of 21 years to 42 years. • Applicants should have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution, or should have completed AMICE (Section A & B Examination)
• Candidate belonging to Unreserved/OBC and EWS categories must have secured a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in the above
• Candidate belonging to the SC/ST category of the State of Uttarakhand must have secured pass marks or equivalent grade in the above branch s of
• Candidates already in employment in the UJVN Limited must have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the above branches of engineering.

• Applicants should have obtained Bachelor‘s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Branches which are in a combination with Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Or
• Must have passed in section ‘ A’ and ‘ B’ of the Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in any of the above-mentioned branches.
• Candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC and EWS categories must have secured a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in the above discipline.
• Candidate belonging to the SC/ST category of the State of Uttarakhand must have secured pass marks or equivalent grade in the above branches of engineering
• Candidates already in employment in the UJVNL must have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in any of the two branches.

• Applicants should have obtained M.Sc (Geology)/ M.Tech. in applied Geology or equivalent with specialisation in Engineering Geology from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
• The candidate should also have a working knowledge of reading, writing and speaking Hindi.

According to the official notification of the Assistant Engineer, the candidates applying for any of the posts are required to be a permanent domicile of Uttarakhand. The candidates who belong to other states are not eligible to avail of the age relaxations or any sort of reservation benefits mentioned in the notification.

The board has not mentioned anything related to the scribe for the candidates who are visually or orthopaedically disabled. Thus, this implied that the physically handicapped candidates have to appear for the exam all by themselves.

As long as the candidates satisfy all the factors mentioned in the eligibility criteria of UJVNL Assistant Engineer recruitment, they will be eligible to appear for the UJVNL AE exam as many times as they want.
