NDA Exam 2026 for UPSC occurs twice a year for admission in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. TS DSC SGT Eligibility Criteria must be checked and fulfilled by all the candidates before applying for the TS DSC Senior Grade Teacher post. The eligibility criteria include factors like age limit, qualification, number of attempts, nationality, etc are shared below:

The age of the candidates must be between 18 years to 46 years as of the prescribed date in order to apply for the TS DSC SGT recruitment. However, there shall be age relaxation for the different categories of the candidates.

The TS DSC SGTs educational criteria is an important prerequisite to be fulfilled by all the candidates given below:

• Must Possess Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recognized by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 50% Marks (In case of SC/ST /BC /Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.

Or

• Must Possess Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recognized by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 45% Marks (In case of SC/ST /BC/differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%) and Pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.

And

• Passed Paper I of Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET)/Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET).

Candidates must be a citizen of India in order to be considered eligible to apply for the TS DSC SGT post. They will be required to submit proof of their citizenship at the time of verification of the certificates.

The Telangana State Public Service Commission has specified no limit on the number of attempts to participate in the TS DSC SGT recruitment drive. Candidates can appear for the recruitment drive until they exceed their maximum age limit and other eligibility conditions.
