Annual TANGEDCO AE Salary 2023
Once the candidate has passed the selection process, they will be appointed at a variable pay scale of the range Rs.39,800-12,6500/-, for three months. The candidate will, therefore, be placed at Level One of the pay matrix. The TANGEDCO AE salary package consists of Dearness Allowance (DA), Rent Control Allowance, Health Insurance package, and many more benefits. Thus, the annual package for a TANGEDCO AE will be around Rs. 4,77,600-1,51,8000.

TANGEDCO AE Salary 2023: In-hand
The TANGEDCO AE salary is in the range- Rs.39800-126500/-, which is the Basic Pay. After the 7th pay commission, for employees who come under Level 1 of Officer Pay Matrix, DA or Dearness Allowance is at nine percent of Basic Pay, which comes down to Rs.3582. The HRA or House Rent Allowance varies from location to location and can be anywhere between Rs.6200-Rs.2800. Other allowances like medical or thermal are also dependent on location. The deduction will be around 10 percent, and the major salary will come down to Rs.40000 (approximately).

| TANGEDCO Assistant Engineer ME <br> Free Mock Test <br> TANGEDCO conducts a written examination that will be of objective type. Each question will have 4 options from which the candidate will have to choose the correct answer. The commission conducts the exam in English as well as Tamil. The total time for the examination will be 120 minutes. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the examination. The question paper will have three parts. Part 1 consists of questions worth 20 marks, and Part 2 consists of questions worth 20 marks. The last sections comprise questions with a weightage of 60 marks.
