Candidates must fulfil all the SSB ASI eligibility requirements such as age limit, educational qualification, desirable experience, nationality, and other details to apply for the said post. Age Limit
Sashastra Seema Bal has specified the SSBI ASI age limit very clearly. Candidates must note that the last date to determine age and other eligibility conditions will be the closing date for receipt of applications i.e., 30 days from the date of publication of official notification.

SSB ASI Eligibility 2026 - Key Points
Candidates who want to apply for SSB ASI recruitment must first be aware of the eligibility based on age, qualification, nationality, and number of attempts as given above. However, once that is done, they must take note of the following points regarding the SSB ASI Eligibility .
- Candidates who have crossed 25 years of age will not be eligible to apply.
- Aspirants must fulfil both essential and desirable educational requirements to apply for ASI (Stenographer) post.
- If any candidates cannot type or transcribe on computer within the specified duration and capacity, they will be disqualified.
