SJVN Junior Field Engineer Exam Details 2026

• The salary structure will include benefits @ 5%/4%/3% on the basis of PAR rating of Excellent/Very Good/Good for the year on completion of each year.
• The candidates shall be entitled to 12 days casual leave, 20 days sick leave in a year.
• They shall also be entitled to TA/DA if required to go on tour in connection with official duties at applicable rates for the lowest level in the Supervisor category for the post of Junior Field Engineer
• Medical facility to self for the first year and self & family i.e. spouse & two dependent children during the 2nd year and onwards shall be provided subject to maximum one month remuneration for OPD cases for each year. They shall also get medical insurance in case of IPD treatments during the tenure of engagement upto INR 8 Lakh in the case of Junior Field Engineer
• He shall also be covered under SJVN’s Employee Deposit Linked Insurance scheme and insured under Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme

The engagement of the candidate is purely temporary in nature & on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 years. If the candidate’s performance is found to be of satisfactory level then, the period can be extended by 2 more years. The contractual engagement will automatically be terminated on the expiry of 36 months or on completion of the extended period.

As per the educational qualification, the candidate must have a Diploma in Civil/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institute. The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in aggregate in all the semesters. Similarly, for the reserved category, the aggregate marks of 55% in all the semesters.
