RVUNL Junior Assistant Exam Details 2026

As per the official notification, candidates who clear the RVUNL Junior Assistant cut-off marks shall receive salary as per the 7th CPC. The candidates will get fixed remuneration when candidates will be in the probation period. The remuneration fixed per month is going to be equal to INR 14,600.

At the same time, after completing the probation period, candidates will get a salary as per the pay scale of INR 20,800. The allowances that come along with the basic salary promised are mentioned in the space below:

• Dearness Allowance (DA)
• Dearness Pay (DP)
• Conveyance Allowance (CA)
• City Compensation Allowance (CCA)

Candidates interested in working as a Junior Assistant in the RVUNL must also know the yearly package as per their determined monthly fixed remuneration. Hence, the selected candidates are entitled to receive an annual package of INR 1,75,200.

Upon successful completion of the 2-year probationary period, the candidates shall receive L-5 of the pay matrix with minimum basic pay of INR 2,49,600 per annum.

As per the official website, the candidates after scoring minimum qualifying marks in the RVUNL Junior Assistant exam pattern will be kept on a probation period of 2 years. The final appointment after completing the probation period is going to be on the basis of the performance during the probation period.

Those candidates who are physically handicapped and are suffering from any difficulty in appearing for the examination and has limited speed need to abide by the following criteria:

• The candidate who is physically handicapped has to arrange his/her own scribe at their own cost.
• It is advisable to keep the qualification of the scribe less than that of the candidate taking the examination. Additionally, he should be from a completely different academic stream than the one prescribed for the post.
• No two candidates must have the same scribe or they must be disqualified from the examination

There is no provision of the number of maximum attempts for candidates who belong to the unreserved or reserved category. The candidates have to only abide by the age limit decided for their post. However, it is advisable to abide by the RVUNL Junior Assistant Books to get selection in the first attempt.
