RPSC Librarian Exam Details 2026

The candidates will receive Pay Matrix Level L-11 (Grade Pay -4200).

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has prescribed the minimum education qualification to be eligible to appear for the RPSC Librarian Recruitment Examination. The candidates must:

• 1. Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC with degree or diploma in Library Science recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.
• 2. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) only recruits candidates who have Indian Citizenship and domicile of Rajasthan.

The candidates can apply for the post as many times until they reach the maximum age limit as set by the RPSC. The candidates must also fulfill all the other RPSC Librarian Eligibility criteria.

As per the notification released by RPSC, the candidates applying for the RPSC Librarian post are not required to have any prior experience. Freshers are also eligible to apply for the post.
