REET Age Limit for Level 1
The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) does not prescribe any minimum or maximum age limit for the REET examination. Candidates of any age who fulfil all the other eligibility requirements are eligible to apply for the REET Level 1 Examination.

REET Educational Qualification for Level 1 (Classes I to V)
Candidates must fulfil any one of the following educational qualification criteria to be eligible for the REET Level 1 Exam:
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduated and passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- B.Ed. (Child Development)
Note: 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/PWD/Widow/Divorcee categories.
REET Age Limit for Level 2 (Classes VI to VIII)
There is no upper age limit or maximum number of attempts prescribed for the REET Level 2 Exam.
REET Educational Qualification for Level 2
Candidates must fulfil any one of the following educational qualification criteria to be eligible for the REET Level 2 Examination.
- Graduation and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduation/Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. passed or appearing.
- 4-year Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 4-year integrated B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

REET Nationality
Candidates applying for REET should be citizens of India. Any foreign candidates or persons having nationality of other countries will not be eligible for this Eligibility Test.

Number of Attempts for REET 2026 Exam
As per the official eligibility criteria for the upcoming REET exam, there is no cap on the number of attempts. Those candidates who had appeared the REET exam in previous years and met the minimum eligibility criteria required as mentioned in the notification can reappear in the examination.

REET in Hand Salary
After every deduction, the remaining salary is what is known as the in-hand salary. This concept is also followed for REET salary. The 3rd Grade Teachers will see a few deductions in their monthly paychecks. Once the notification is released, we will be able to know the in-hand salary of REET Teachers. REET Exam Pattern 2025
There will be separate tests for Level I and Level II Teachers. Candidates who wish to teach for both Level I and Level II will have to clear both tests.
REET Exam Pattern 2025-Level 1 (Class I to V)
There will be five parts in this written test which will be Offline in nature (OMR Based). A total of 150 questions for 150 marks will be there in the written test for Level I. The total time duration to complete this REET examination is 2 hrs 30 minutes. There will be no negative marking in the examination.

REET Exam Pattern 2025 - Level 2 (Class VI to VIII)
The exact exam patter will be released with the release of the official notification. As of now, you can refer to the previous exam pattern released in the year 2025.
- A total of four parts will be there in Level II exam pattern and the mode of test will be Offline.
- REET Level II exam consists of 150 questions for 150 marks.
- You will have 2 hours 30 minutes to complete this test.
- There will be no negative marking in the examination
