PSSSB School Librarian Exam Details 2026

All the candidates who are willing to apply for the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board. (PSSSB) School Librarian must fulfill the PSSSB School Librarian Eligibility before applying.  The PSSSB School Librarian Eligibility Criteria include the candidate’s educational qualification, age limit, and other important conditions for the post. | There is a certain relaxation given to candidates based on their community category. | |

Candidates applying for the recruitment must be at least 18 years of age. The age limit must be met as of the last date of submission of the application. The upper age limit shall be as per the category. There will be an age relaxation given to certain categories of candidates as below:

The PSSSB School Librarian Eligibility criteria for nationality defines that both the male and the female candidates must be citizens of India. Other nationals were declared eligible by the Government of India. Candidates should avoid furnishing any false information as all the applications are carefully scrutinized by the commission. The candidate must meet the physical requirements set by the PSSSB to be eligible for the PSSSB School Librarian Exam. The PSSSB has not specified the maximum number of attempts available to a candidate. However, there is an age limit set by the PSSSB which means that the candidate can only apply within the age of 18 to 37 years.

As per the PSSSB Eligibility School Librarian notification, having work experience is not a mandatory criterion. Candidates with or without any experience can apply for this exam given that he/ she fulfills other eligibility criteria.
