PSCPL JE Age Limit
The age limit criteria of PSPCL Junior Engineer 2025 will be released on the official website. Candidates can refer to the eligibility criteria before filling the application. To be eligible for the PSPCL Junior Engineer recruitment exam, the minimum age must be 18 years. On the other hand, the upper age limit must be within 37 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for the reserved category applicants.
PSC PCL JE Age Relaxation

Number of Attempts
The PSPCL JE official notification doesn’t indicate any point regarding the number of attempts one can make to take the exam. As long as you fit into the set of guidelines issued by the regulating body and match the age limit, you are eligible to sit for the exam.

PSPCL JE Additional Perks and Benefits

1: Medical Reimbursements: This comes as the major perk received by the employees. This is provided to the employees to meet the expenses of medical treatment or cope up with the costs of medical bills.

PSPCL JE Salary Slip 2023
Now, we will be detailing all the components of the PSPCL JE salary slip in the upcoming section of the content.
1: House Rent Allowance: This allowance is granted to the employees to cope up with the cost of living in the residence while at job, depending upon the location of the employee he/she is posted in. However, this job is Punjab based.
2: Travel Allowances: The employees receive this allowance to cope up with the transportation cost during his/her working hours for the concerned department, as junior engineers.
3: Pay Scale and Grade Pay: As already discussed, the grade pay for both the posts is INR 5350 whereas the pay scale is also the same, being INR 10900+34800.

PSPCL JE Probation Period
The PSPCL JE selection process concludes with the shortlisting of the candidates, who are eligible to move further with the probation period. During the course of the period or the extended time, the candidate will be getting only the monthly emoluments and no additional allowances such as Transportation costs, other reimbursements etc. Those who are capable of producing a satisfactory performance in the probation period, are eligible for permanent recruitment at Punjab State Power Corporation limited. Stage 1: PSPCL JE Prelims Exam
The first phase of the PSPCL JE selection process is the written exam that takes place at the exam centres in Punjab. There are three general topics in the written exam and a section of professional knowledge. The sections included are,

Stage 2: PSPCL JE Mains Exam
The number of candidates to appear in the Mains Test will be 4 times the number of total vacancies in each stream. The examination scheme for the Mains exam is going to be the same as that of Prelims.

Stage 3: PSPCL JE Merit List
The candidates must perform well in the PSPCL JE written test. Based on their performance, the PSPCL JE Results are declared on the website.
- The merit list of candidates shall be prepared on the basis of marks scored in online exam and only those candidates shall be considered in merit list who scores minimum qualifying marks in online exam as mentioned above.
- The category-wise final merit shall be prepared based on the marks secured in Computer based test only except for Sports person category candidates whose final merit shall be prepared by the O/o Director/Sports, Punjab as per Sports gradation policy no. 47/26/83-5Edu. /2036 dated 10.12.1997 and Punjab Recruitment of Sportsman Rules, 1988 with applicable amendments, if any.
Stage 4: PSPCL JE Document Verification Round
The candidates who are shortlisted based on the written exam conducted, need to appear for the document verification round on the given date. The candidate is found eligible only if the documents submitted follow the prescribed age limit, academic qualification, knowledge of Punjabi Language, and certificate about the reservation. The candidature of the candidate will be cancelled without any notice, in case it is found the document submitted is invalid or fake. After the procedure, those who are found eligible can undergo a probation period for a specific span.

Note
1: A date is scheduled for the selected candidate to join, within a maximum of 21 days from the day of selection. The candidate must ensure to be present at the time of joining.
2: In case the candidate fails to attend on the first joining date, a second chance will be given to them within another 21 days time. If he/she fails to appear this time as well, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
3: No other person on behalf of the candidate is allowed to attend on the date of joining.

What After the PSPCL JE Document Verification Round?
As already mentioned, after the document verification round, the eligible candidates must undergo the probation period.
