The State Government of Odisha has announced a revised eligibility criterion for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026. Under the new rules, candidates who have completed the 2-year B.Ed (Special Education) course are now eligible to appear for OTET under Category-II. Previously, only those with a 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) qualification were allowed to sit for the examination. This provides greater opportunities for special education teachers.
