MPPSC Age Limit
Accorrding to the MPPSC Eligibility requirements, the candidate must be in the age group of 21 to 40 years as on 01.01.2025.
- For Uniformed posts, the upper MPPSC age limit is 33 years.
- Relaxations in the age limit are also allowed for reserved category applicants.

MPPSC Educational Qualification
According to the MPPSC Eligibility Criteria, the applicants must have completed a graduate degree from a recognised university/institute. Those in the final year of graduation can also apply.
Nationality
The MPPSC Eligibility requires that the applicants must be Indian nationals. They must also have valid documents to prove their nationality.

Preliminary Examination
The MPPSC Preliminary Examination comprises two papers: General Studies (Paper 1) and General Aptitude Test (Paper 2), each carrying 200 marks. Both papers are of 2 hours duration and consist of 100 questions, with 2 marks awarded for each correct answer. The exam is conducted in English and Hindi, with no negative marking. Candidates who clear the cutoff marks qualify for the mains examination.
Main Examination
The MPPSC Main Examination consists of 6 papers covering General Studies, Hindi, and Essay Writing, with a total of 1500 marks. Each paper is 3 hours long, except the Hindi Essay paper, which is 2 hours. The medium of instruction is English and Hindi for General Studies and exclusively Hindi for Hindi papers. This stage is crucial for shortlisting candidates for the interview round.
Interview
Candidates who clear the main examination are invited for an interview, which carries 175 marks. This stage evaluates the candidate’s personality, leadership qualities, decision-making skills, and suitability for administrative roles. It is a critical stage where candidates’ overall presentation and communication are assessed.
Physical Ability Test
The Physical Ability Test is applicable to specific posts like those in the Home (Police) Department, Sub-Inspector, and others. It assesses candidates' physical standards, such as height and chest girth, based on set criteria. For instance, male candidates must meet a minimum height of 168 cm and chest girth of 84 cm (expanded: 89 cm), while female candidates need a minimum height of 155 cm.
