MAHATRANSCO Technician Exam Details 2026

As per the MAHATRANSCO Technician notification, the candidate shall be paid salary on the basis of the pay scale admissible to that post. The candidates shall be paid the monthly in-hand salary equal to INR 80,962 per month. With this, the MAHATRANSCO Technician annual package shall amount to INR 9.6 to 10 lakhs per annum.

The candidates clearing the MAHATRANSCO Technician result list are provided final appointment as Technicians in the company. However, before joining the company, the candidates are kept on a probation period for a fixed time period. During this period, the candidates are taught the duties and responsibilities of MAHATRANSCO Technician as Technicians. The tenure of this period is not yet announced by the company. The MAHATRANSCO Technician post joining the company are eligible to get promotion to senior levels by clearing the internal exams. The company conducts departmental exams on a regular basis. The candidates applying for the post should be a domicile of Maharashtra State. Backward Class candidates should be of the categories notified by Maharashtra State.

The company has not notified the maximum attempts for appearing in the MAHATRANSCO Technician exam. The candidates can appear in the exam as long as they qualify for the upper age limit.

As per MAHATRANSCO Technician Eligibility , the candidates need not have any prior work experience to apply for the post.

The candidates willing to get an appointment under the MAHATRANSCO Technician job profile have to make sure that the following are also met before filling the application form:

• Certificate of Secondary School Certificate Examination Board or recognized University showing the passing of Secondary/School Certificate Examination or Matric or Higher Examination of University with the Marathi Language.
• The candidates who belong to the Orphan category or physically disabled category will be required to submit their certificates released by the competent authorities during the document verification round of the MAHATRANSCO Technician exam pattern.
• The employees working in Government / Semi. Government Undertaking will have to produce a No Objection Certificate at the time of document verification.
• The appointment order of the selected Departmental candidates will be issued by the concern Section after verification of disciplinary actions
