The Karnataka SI 2025 exam is expected to have the following section - Kannada and General Studies. The 1st section will have descriptive-type questions like essay and summary writing. This will account for a total of 50 marks. The General Studies section will have objective-type questions on various topics discussed in the later section of the article. This section is expected to have 150 questions of 1 mark each, totalling 150 marks.

The Karnataka SI expected a written exam would have two papers. It is expected that the first paper will be descriptive and consist of essays, translations, etc. It is expected that the other section will have objective-type questions with a total weightage of 150. 1/4th mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
