KSP Constable Age Limit
The candidate must be at least aged 18 years. The upper age limit for candidates belonging to various categories is presented below:
- 29 years for SC, ST, and Backward Classes.
- 32 years for tribal candidates residing in forest areas of Karnataka
- 27 years for other candidates.
Karnataka Police Constable Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the post of KSP Constable and KSP Civil Police Constable, the applicants must have completed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board in order to be eligible to appear for KSP Constable. The other equivalent qualifications are as follows:
- Higher Secondary Course (HSC) conducted by National Insitute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
- 3-year Diploma or 2-year ITI course or 2-year Career Education Diploma (JOC/JODC/JLDC)/PUC

Karnataka Police Constable Work Experience
There is no such requirement of experience, appearing candidates just need to pass matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board and for the general category, the minimum age is 19 years and the maximum is 25 years.
Karnataka Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test
There will be a Karnataka Police Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test for the KSP exam. The PMT and PET are the second step to the selection process. Candidates have to mandatorily clear this stage in order to get final selection. In the Physical Efficiency Test (Endurance Test), the physical strength of the candidates on the basis of the following criteria:
