The JSSC is expected to release 947 vacancies forthe Jharkhand Police SI post. For the previous cycle,1544 vacancies were released. The category-wise JSSC SI vacancy distribution for the same is presented below.

Step 1 : Go to JSSCwebsite.

Step 2 : Click on the Application Forms (Apply) section on the left side of your screen.

Step 3 : A new page will appear which will have the JSSC Sub Inspector Bharti apply online link. Click on it.

Step 4 : It will take you to a new website where you will be required to register.

Step 5 : After registering youll receive a Login ID and password on your email and mobile number

Step 6 : Use these login credentials to log in to your account and start filling the online application of the JSSC Sub Inspector Exam

Step 7 : Now youll have to upload all the scanned documents that have been asked. These include educational qualifications, personal details, cast certificates, etc.

Step 8 : After successfully uploading all the relevant documents go through the application form again and ensure everything is filled in

Step 9 : Click on submit and complete the payment process through various options available. Download a copy of the application form on your device for future use.

All candidates will be required to pay the Exam fee after completing the online application form for the JSSC SI Recruitment. This exam fee is different for different categories and is mentioned below.

The JSSC SI written exam takes place over 3 papers of 120 questions each. Each question carries 1 mark totaling to 120 marks. Candidates get 2 hours each to complete the papers. The written test is conducted offline, made up of objective questions, and is OMR based.

Candidates who clear the OMR based written test will have to prove their physical fitness through a physical assessment test. This test measures the endurance and the physical well-being of the candidate. The criteria of the Physical Efficiency Test is differentiated according to the genders. The criteria are as follows:

The candidates who wade through the written exam and the PET will have to undergo a medical examination at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi. The medical exam will include an examination of the following conditions in candidates:

• Sagittarius Legs
• Flat Feet
• Visual Impairment
• Colour Blindness
• Hearing Problem
• Stammering
• Infectious Disease or Mental Illness

Candidates found to be having any of the above conditions will be disqualified from the JSSC SI Recruitment

The candidates should possess a bachelors or equivalent qualification from a central or state government recognized university.

The candidates applying to the JSSC SI should fulfill some physical requirements as the job requires a fair amount of Physical exertion. These criteria include:
