The JKSSB will release an official notification for the post of Patwari for vacant vacancies. The candidates joining the office in the post of Patwari will be eligible to receive their salary as per the 7th pay commission. The candidate must have completed his Graduation in Urdu from a recognised college or University.

• The JKSSB Patwari applicants who possess physical disabilities are subjected to receive permission to avail a scribe.
• The posts may be declared as identified for additional disabilities per the provisions of the “Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
• The persons with benchmark disabilities have to produce a certificate to the effect that the person concerned has physical limitations to write, and a scribe is essential to write the examination on his/ her behalf from a specialist doctor working in a Government Health Institution duly countersigned by the concerned Medical Superintendent in this regard.
• The candidates with benchmark disabilities opting for their scribe shall be required to submit details of their scribe. In addition, the scribe has to produce a valid ID proof in original at the time of examination.
• The candidate who wants to appear as a scribe must have an academic qualification less than Graduation.
• This will be valid only if the prescribed minimum qualification is Graduation for the post the candidate appears for the exam.

As per the official notice of JKSSB Patwari 2024, the candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir as defined in terms of the Notifications issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The candidate should also have the relevant evidence in the form of a Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the format prescribed for the purpose on or before the last

date of submission of the online application form.
