The Indian Navy has released the official notification for the Indian Navy SSR Agniveer post for unmarried male and female candidates. Candidates willing to apply for the Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Recruitment must fulfil the required eligibility criteria in terms of their age, qualification, nationality, physical fitness, etc. Those who do not fulfil the Indian Navy SSR Eligibility 2026 will be disqualified. • Interested candidates must have a minimum degree of 10+2, read below to know in detail.
• The age limit is 17 to 21 years depending on the Agniveer SSR batch the candidate is applying for.
• The applicants must be born between 01 Dec 2004 – 31 May 2009 for Agniveer 01/2027 batch and between 01 May 2005 - 31 Oct 2009 for Agniveer 02/2027 batch.
• Candidates who do not meet the physical standards will be disqualified.

Candidates applying for the Indian Navy Agniveer SSR must be Indian citizens or Gorkhas from Nepal, meeting the minimum 10+2 educational qualification. The age limit is 17 to 21 years depending on the batch the candidate is applying for. They must also pass the Physical Fitness Test, which includes a 1.6 Km run to be completed in 6 minutes 30 seconds for males and 8 minutes for females, as per the eligibility criteria outlined by the Indian Navy.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR  Educational Qualification

The candidates must have a minimum degree of 10+2 in Maths and Physics and at least one of these subjects: - Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

The candidates applying for Indian Navy SSR Agniveer and SSR Medical Assistant have to be Indian citizens.Gorkhas (Nepal) are also eligible to apply for Indian Navy SSR Agniveer posts.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Physical fitness test

It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify the Physical Fitness Test in order to be eligible for the Indian Navy SSR Agniveer and SSR Medical Assistant post. Read below to know the criteria needed to fulfill.

• The PFT will consist of a 1.6 Km run, which is to be completed in 6 minutes 30 seconds for male and 8 minutes for female.

Indian Navy SSR Agniveer Medical standards

• The minimum height required for a candidate is 157cm. The weight should be proportionate to height.
• Candidates must be able for a minimum chest expansion of 5 cms.
• The candidate must have good physical and mental health, and be free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties both ashore and afloat under peace as well as war conditions as per Navy Order (Special).
• The candidates should be disease-free, like, no cardio-vascular disease, no surgical deformities ( like Knock knees), no history of psychiatric ailments, and no ear infection.
• The individuals visual acuity is 6/6 in the better eye and 6/9 without glasses, improving to 6/6 with glasses in the worse eye.
