HDFC Personal Banker Exam Details 2026

This is a paid programme, and candidates get a stipend when enrolled. It is expected that candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000/- for the first six months (classroom study). Candidates will be paid Rs. 10,000/- each month for the following three months (internship). Candidates are paid Rs. 10,000/- a month for the final three months of on-the-job training.

After the candidates are selected for the post of HDFC Personal Banker Clerk, they are enrolled in the programme which is a 1-year professional diploma program by HDFC Bank in collaboration with Manipal University. It is a 6-month on-campus residential programme. After 6 months, applicants are given an internship and on-the-job training at any HDFC Bank branch.

The candidates selected for the post of HDFC Personal Banker stand a chance for a permanent job in the bank as well as further job promotions. Promotion and wage increases are dependent on the candidates work ethic, work profile, seniority, and overall performance. Following completion of the training, the applicant is offered a position as a Personal Banker in the grade of Deputy Manager with HDFC Bank. Once promoted to higher positions, they will be entitled to a larger annual package and allowances.

HDFC Personal Banker Eligibility Criteria Bank has clearly defined the educational qualification needed for the programme with the bank. Candidates must carefully read the educational qualification needed before applying for the post.

• The candidates need to have full-time graduation from any stream.
• The graduation should be from a recognized university
