ESIC UDC Eligibility 2025
Verifying the ESIC UDC eligibility criteria for the year 2025 is a crucial step for all prospective candidates. The eligibility requirements, which typically include educational qualifications, age limits, and other specific criteria. ESIC UDC Nationality
The candidates need to fulfil the ESIC UDC eligibility criteria pertaining to nationality if they want to get a job through the ESIC UDC Exam. A candidate who wants to apply for this ESIC UDC exam must be either:
(A) A citizen of India
(B) A subject of Nepal
(C) A subject of Bhutan.
(D) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the Ist January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) An individual of Indian origin who has come from Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently living in India.
Note- Provided that an applicant belongs to certain categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be an individual who has been favoured a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. An applicant in whose case a certificate of eligibility is a must may be admitted to the Examination but the offer letter of appointment will be provided only after the important eligibility certificate has been issued to them by the Government of India.
ESIC UDC Educational Qualification

- Interested candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree in the required stream from a recognized university or institute and must have basic knowledge of computers.

ESIC UDC Age Limit
The age criteria is an important part of the ESIC UDC eligibility criteria. The candidates can go through the minimum and maximum age requirements and the age relaxations offered to candidates of different categories. The minimum age is 18 to the maximum age of 27 years. The ESIC UDC Exam Pattern for 2025 is designed to assess candidates across a range of skills essential for the role. - The exam will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a total of 400 marks, to be completed in 90 minutes.
- The marking scheme awards +4 for each correct answer and deducts -1 for each wrong answer (¼ negative marking).
- The question distribution includes 20 MCQs from General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Computer Awareness, and 80 MCQs from Domain-Specific Topics.
- The exam follows a sectional format with 5 sections of 20 questions each, 18 minutes per section, auto-submit after 18 minutes, and no backtracking allowed.
