Age Limit
The age limit criteria of DMRC JE Eligibility criteria 2024 is still not released. An official notification for the 2024 cycle is expected to be released by the authorities mentioning the age limit. Any changes will be notified much prior to the exam. Till the release of the DMRC Junior Engineer 2024 notification, candidates can follow and have a look at the previous year's cycle’s age limit.
The maximum age limit to apply for the post of DMRC JE post is 18-28 years, which varies for different categories. The relaxation provided by the commission to the various categories is described below:

Each of the candidates must fulfill certain DMRC JE qualification to be considered eligible for the post, which is described below:

Note: Candidates must possess a Diploma in the relevant field. Candidates with higher qualification, such as B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. etc. in respective disciplines but not having a diploma in the relevant field, shall not be eligible and cannot apply. Nationality
The DMRC JE eligibility allows the candidates to take the exam as long as they are Indian citizens. Candidates are allowed to appear for the exam regardless of their domicile as far as they can prove his/her nationality. Candidates who cannot provide citizenship proof, their candidature will be cancelled.
Number of Attempts
As the official notification for 2024 cycle is not out yet we can look into the previous year pattern for the number of attempts i.e,The DMRC JE Eligibility allows the candidate to take as many attempts as they want to, till they cross the maximum age limit as provided by the corporation, i.e. 28 years for the general category and as per the relaxation given for other categories.

Experience
The DMRC JE Eligibility criteria states that candidates with no prior experience are eligible for applying for the post of DMRC JE. The candidates must have the essential educational qualification as required for the JE post.

Annual Package for DMRC JE Post
- After securing the coveted job of DMRC JE, the candidates shall have attractive DMRC JE salary and facilities as decided by the 7th Pay Commission.
- The Candidates clearing the DMRC JE Exam are paid according to Level 6 of the pay band.
- The annual DMRC JE Salary after 7th pay commission finalises it, comes up to INR 4.4 Lakhs to INR 13 Lakhs.
- DMRC JE Electrical, DMRC JE Electronics, DMRC JE Mechanical, DMRC JE Environment, and DMRC JE Civil salary are the same.
- Annual package for 2024 cycle is not out yet, it will be out soon after the release of the official notification. The pay scale for 2024 cycle is expected to be in the same line.
DMRC JE In-Hand Salary
The in-hand DMRC JE Salary and facilities are given as per pay level 6 in the pay range INR 37,000/- to 115,000/- according to the guidelines of the 7th Pay Commission. The selected candidates who join as a DMRC JE have many allowances and perks that apply to the basic salary. Besides, there are some deductions like EPF contributions etc.
The DMRC Junior Engineer (JE) salary slip is in accordance with the 7th CPC. The wage structure of DMRC Junior Engineer (JE) is detailed. DMRC JE is paid between Rs. 14,500 and Rs. 25,500 per month. DMRC JE Probation Period
The selected candidates who clear the DMRC JE exam have to undergo a probation period of 2 years. In these two years, the candidates’ performance and behaviour will be closely monitored. The candidates shall also be required to pass various examinations. If the performance of any candidate is found to be deficient and unsatisfactory, he or she will be terminated by the corporation.
It is important to note that the DMRC may terminate the appointment of any candidate within the probation period of 2 years. They may or may not be given reasons for the removal by the DMRC.
