Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidate to be eligible for applying for the CSB UDC Examination is 18 years and the maximum age is 25 years. The age relaxation is provided to different categories in the CSB UDC Exam. The candidates can refer to the table to get to know about the upper age limit relaxation.

Educational Qualification
The Central Silk Board has prescribed the education qualification required to be eligible to appear for the CSB UDC Recruitment Examination, which is mentioned in detail below:
- The candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution.
- The candidate should have proper knowledge of Typing. The candidate must be able to do typing with a speed of thirty-five words per minute in English or thirty words per minute in Hindi Typewriting.

Nationality
The CSB UDC only recruits candidates who have Indian Citizenship. Moreover, the candidates should have a good command of the Hindi and English language to be eligible for the post of Upper Division Clerk.
Number of Attempts
The candidates can apply for the CSB UDC Job Profile until they reach the maximum age limit of 25 years as set by the CSB Board.
Experience
It is not compulsory for the candidates to have previous working experience while applying for the CSB UDC Recruitment process. The fresher can also apply for the Upper Division Clerk post.
Annual Package for the CSB UDC Post
The candidate must clear both the Computer Based Test and Typing Test to get recruited for the post of CSB UDC. The selected candidates will receive a basic monthly CSB UDC salary of Rs. 25,500 /- to Rs. 81,100 /- Level 4 in the pay Matrix. The annual package for the candidates will be thus, ranging from Rs. 3,06,000 /- to Rs. 9,73,200 /-.

CSB UDC Additional Perks and Allowances
The candidates must score the required CSB UDC Cut Off marks to get recruited for the post and avail of many benefits and allowances provided to them. The CSB UDC employees will receive the following allowances listed below:

CSB UDC Salary Slip
Candidates who will get appointed for the post will receive CSB UDC Salary Slip at the end of every month. The CSB UDC salary slip involves details like basic salary, gross salary, net salary, deductions, allowances, etc. The salary slip of the CSB UDC is an important document used for various official purposes such as proof of employment, applying for loans, income tax benefits, etc.
CSB UDC In-Hand Salary
The candidates will receive the basic CSB UDC Salary of Rs. 25,500/- per month according to the pay scale level 4. The candidate will receive a maximum salary of Rs. 81,100/- per month after gaining the required experience in the Upper Division Clerk post.

CSB UDC Probation Period
The Central Silk Board has not mentioned the probation period in the official notification released for the post of Upper Division Clerk. During the probation period, the selected candidates will be evaluated on their performance and if they don’t perform well they can be terminated from their Upper Division Clerk Job.
