CISF Fireman Education Qualifications
Candidates must have completed their 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognised Board/University with a science subject on or before the closing date of the online application receipt form.
Nationality

CISF Fireman Physical Test
The CISF Fireman Physical Test is the first stage of the selection process and is qualifying in nature. This means that it does not carry any marks and will not be used in the preparation of the final merit score. The Physical Test for the CISF Fireman post will be conducted at various centers. Detailed scrutiny of the candidate’s identity and documents will be done through biometric registrations on the day of the Physical test. .
CISF Fireman Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2024
The CISF Fireman Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is the first stage of the recruitment process for the CISF Constable Fireman post. Candidates will be evaluated for their ability for their physical strength and stamina through a variety of Sports or Physical activities. In this part of the Physical test, candidates will be required to clear 5 km. run in 24 minutes.
CISF Fireman Physical Standards Test (PST) 2024
Candidates who qualify the Height Bar Test and the PET (Run) will advance to the next stage in the selection process, which is the CISF Fireman Physical Standards Test (PST). This part of the CISF Fireman Physical Test is conducted to assess the candidates’ physical suitability for the challenging duties required for the post of Fireman Constable. Candidates will be screened for height, chest and weight by the Board of Officers. Documents Required for CISF Fireman Physical Test 2024
Candidates who qualify both, the Physical Standards Test as well as the Physical Efficiency Test will be called for the Document Verification round. For verification, candidates must bring the following documents - :
- 2 colored printouts of CISF Fireman Admit Card for Physical Test
- Valid Photo ID proof
- Matriculation or Class 10th Secondary Examination Certificate
- Educational Certificates and Marksheets
- Domicile Certificate
- Certificate from serving defense personnel in the prescribed format
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Certificate from candidates who wish to avail of the relaxation.
- Experience Letter (if applicable)
- No Objection Certificate (in case already employed by the govt.
CISF Fireman Physical Test 2024 – Points to Remember
Now that you know what is the CISF Fireman Physical Test, go through the below pointers to check important details about the Physical Tests –
- Candidates weight will be recorded proportionate to height and age as per medical standards. Weight will be recorded at the time of physical measurements but the decision on fitness on account of weight will be taken at the time of medical examination.
- Candidates who are declared NOT QUalified in Physical Standards i.e. height and chest may prefer an appeal on the same day to the Appellate Authority nominated for the Centre through Presiding Officer (PO). The decision of the Appellate Authority will be final and no further appeal or representation in this regard will be entertained thereafter.
- There is no provision of appeal in PET (Run).
- After completion of the CISF Fireman Physical Tests and the Written Examination, category-wise merit lists will be drawn separately in respect of each State/UTs based on the performance of candidates in written examination and the vacancies allotted to each State/UT.
- Both the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centers as specified by the CISF.
- The Board will be conducting a detailed scrutiny of candidates eligibility/ documents at the time of the DV on the day of CISF Fireman Physical tests..
CISF Fireman Medical Standards
The shortlisted candidates will be medically examined by the medical boards to assess their physical and medical fitness. The medical examination of the candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and ARs issued via MHA UO No.A.VI-1/2014-
Rectt(SSB) dated May 20, 2015, and MHA OM No.E32012/ADG(Med)/DME&RME/DA-1/2020(Part File)/1166 dated May 31, 2021, and as amended from time to time by the government.
Tattoo
The following criteria have been fixed to determine permissibility of
- Content: Being a secular country, the religious sentiments of our countrymen are to be respected, and thus tattoos depicting religious symbols or figures and their names, as followed in the Indian Army, are to be permitted.
- Location: Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body, like the inner aspect of the forearm, but only the left forearm, being a non-saluting limb or dorsum of the hands, are to be allowed.

Annual Package for the CISF Fireman Post

CISF Fireman Salary Per Month
The gross salary for a CISF Fireman ranges from Rs. 39,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month. This includes the basic pay which lies between Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 according to the level 3 pay matrix. In addition, allowances like dearness allowance, house rent allowance, transport allowance are also provided.
