CISF Constable Driver Age Requirements [As on 04/03/2025]
To be eligible for the CISF Constable Driver position, candidates must meet the age requirements set by the OSSSC. The minimum age limit for applicants is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is set at 27 years. The important date for calculating the age limit is the last day candidates can send in online applications, which is March 04, 2025. This includes candidates from the North East area.
Age Relaxation
Age relaxations have been provided on the upper age limit to various candidates based on government regulations and reservation categories. Mentioned below are the category-wise age relaxations for the CISF Constable Driver position, as per the official notification:

Children -
- both, sons (as well as adopted sons) and daughters (as well as adopted daughters).
Dependent family members -
- a spouse, children, or brother or sister who were wholly dependent on the (unmarried) victim at the time of their death in the riots. Such applicants would be considered eligible.

Note:
- The notification is specifically for the recruitment of Constable Driver and Constable/DCPO positions for male candidates. Therefore, only male children and male dependents of victims who were killed in the 1984 riots and communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat will be considered eligible.
- In order to avail the upper age relaxation in this category, applicants must provide a certificate from the respective District Collector/District Magistrate confirming the death of the victim.
Disqualification
Candidates would be considered disqualified if:
- No person, (a) who has entered into, or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or (b) who, having a spouse living has entered into, or contracted a marriage with any person shall be eligible for appointment to the service provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

CISF Driver In-hand Salary 2025
Successful candidates will get a basic salary and additional benefits and allowances. The total amount, which includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, etc., would be given to the candidates. Additional deductions from the wage include specific sums in the form of National Pension Scheme (NPS), Income Tax, and Professional Tax. It is important to remember that certain benefits, such as transportation allowance, are based on the officer's location and other factors. CISF Drivers receive a total in-hand remuneration of Rs. 21700. Candidates who want to register for the CISF Driver exam must know these facts.
