CISF Constable Allowances and Perks

- Dearness Allowance: DA is a varying amount which gets increased as per the government of India regulations applied. The DA or Dearness allowance acts as an extra amount apart from the basic salary.
- CISF Personal Salary Allowance: Here is a shortlist of CISF Payslip allowance which will be added to every personal contribution to the Central Industrial Security Force under the government of India. This amount of credit will vary according to the designation and tenure of service.
- Transport Allowance: CISF personnel need to travel all around India on an emergency call, such travel charges will be paid by the department.
- Ration Money: Authority will credit the Monthly expenditure of ration as per Grade Pay of the employee.
- Special Duty Allowance: Authority will pay extra for employees working in hard times like Election or Agitations.
- Children’s Education Allowance: If an employee's children are studying their education expenditure will be taken by the CISF department.
- Non-Practising allowance for Medical Officers: Various Medical facilities along with benefits will be given with full allowance credit.
- Dress Allowance: CISF personnel wear in the time of duty will be added under the allowance.
- Hardship/ Risk Allowance: Candidates Working in Agitation and highly restricted areas will be given an extra allowance as per conditions applied.
- House Rent Allowance: HRA or commonly known as House Rent Allowance is a common allowance that a government employee does get based on their basic salary credited.

CISF Constable Application Process 2026
The application process will be done through online mode from 31st August 2024 to 30th September 2024. Below are the steps to apply for the CISF recruitment 2026 or CISF job
Step 2: Complete the One Time Registration
New applicants are required to complete the One Time Registration process by giving personal & contact details. The registration is necessary to proceed with the online application form of CISF constable.
Step 3: Fill Out the Application Form
Once registered the candidates should log in to the portal & fill out the application form with the information. Ensure all details are correct for any future discrepancies.
Step 4: Upload Photograph
Upload a recent, scanned, color passport sized photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). The photograph must be taken within 3 months of the notification date without a cap or spectacles & both ears visible . The date on which the photo was taken must be printed on the photograph.
Step 5: Upload Signature
Candidates must upload a scanned signature in JPEG format (10 KB to 20 KB). The image dimensions should be 4.0 cm in width & 2.0 cm in height. Ensure the signature is clear & legible.
Step 6: Upload Documents
Upload scanned copies of relevant documents like the Matriculation Certificate & Senior Secondary Examination Certificate in PDF format. Only the documents should be uploaded; others will not be accepted.
Step 7: Review & Submit Application
Before submission thoroughly review all details so that they are correct. Confirm that all fields are filled & documents are correctly uploaded.
Step 8: Submit Application Before the Deadline
Ensure to submit the application before the closing date & time. Avoid last-minute submissions for any technical issues.
Step 10: Submit Only One Application
Only one application per candidate is permitted. If multiple applications are submitted, only the first one will be processed & the rest will be rejected. Be careful to avoid any mistakes in initial submission.

CISF Fireman Application Fee
To successfully complete the CISF Fireman online application, the applicants must pay the following fee depending on their category.
Note: Fee can be paid for CISF recruitment 2026 is online through Net Banking, by using Debit or Credit cards and UPI or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Fee paid by modes other than as stated above, will not be accepted.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST) examines candidates' physical fitness & compliance with specified height, chest & weight standards. Candidates will undergo a running event & physical measurements like height and chest expansion. Those meeting the requirements proceed to the next phase of CISF selection process while Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempt from the PET but must meet PST standards.
Document Verification
Candidates who pass the PET & PST must present the original documents for verification. The step confirms the eligibility of candidates by verifying age, educational qualifications & other credentials. Candidates failing to produce valid documents will be disqualified from the process of recruitment of CISF job.
Written Examination
Candidates who qualify in the PET/PST & Document Verification will take a Written Examination which will be an objective type, multiple-choice question (MCQ) test. The exam will cover General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics & language proficiency, either in English or Hindi. It will be conducted in OMR or Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode with 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
Medical Examination
The Medical Examination assesses candidates' overall medical fitness like eyesight and physical & mental health. The step ensures that candidates meet the medical standards required for the post. The medical examination is an important part of the recruitment process determining the final suitability of candidates for the position.
CISF Constable Eligibility 2026
To become a CISF Fireman the candidate must meet CISF Constable Eligibility Criteria set by the government. The requirements include your age, education & physical fitness.
- The CISF Fireman age limit - 18 to 23 years as on the closing date for receipt of the online Applications Form (i.e. 30/09/2024).
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 01/10/2001 and later than 30/09/2006.
- The applicants must have completed class 12th with science subjects from a recognized board of education to be eligible for the CISF Constable Fireman post.
- To be eligible for the CISF Constable Tradesman, the candidate must have passed 10th.
CISF Constable Exam Pattern 2026
Knowing the exam pattern regarding CISF recruitment 2026 is important to understand the type of questions, marking scheme of the exam. The CISF Constable Exam Pattern has been given below for your reference.
- All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice type.
- The Written Examination will be conducted in English and Hindi languages under OMR/Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode only.
- There shall be no negative marking.
- The candidates who qualify in PET/PST/DV will be called for Written Examination under OMR/Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.
- The Written Examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with the following composition :-
