Age Limit
The Candidate’s age mustn’t cross 30 years. The relaxations in the upper age limit shall be applicable to reserved category candidates as per the existing State Govt rules.

Educational Qualification (Expected)
The Educational Qualification is also an important criterion to be fulfilled by candidates in order to participate in the recruitment process. As per the CIL MT CE Eligibility for education, the candidate must have:
- Passed B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2022)
- Please note that GATE Scores/Marks of 2022 will only be valid and GATE Score/Marks of 2021 or prior to that is not valid.
Note: The candidates who have studied Civil engineering are only eligible to apply for the CIL Management Trainee Civil post. However, candidates from Civil with Architecture or Structural Engineering or any other combinations with Civil Engineering, are not eligible to apply for the post.
Nationality
Only the candidates who are Indian Citizens can apply for the post of CIL MT CE.
Number of Attempts

CIL MT CE Annual Package
As per the official notification, the initial annual CIL MT CE Salary of all the selected candidates placed as Management Trainee in E-2 Grade will be Rs.6 lakhs during the training period. On successful and satisfactory completion of 1-year training period and passing the test conducted for the purpose, regularization will be in E-3 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 60,000 to 1,80,000/- at the initial Basic of Rs.7.2 lakhs annually with probation for 1 year, if not extended.

CIL MT CE In-Hand Salary
As per the information provided on the official website for the previous year’s notification, the expected in-hand monthly salary of the CIL MT CE will be around Rs. 50,000 for the initial training period. On successful and satisfactory completion of 1-year training period and passing the test conducted for the purpose, regularization will be in E-3 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 60,000 - 1,80,000/- at the initial Basic of Rs. 60,000/- with probation for 1 year, if not extended.
CIL MT CE Probation Period
The selected candidates will have to serve the corporation for 1 year as a trainee. During this training period, candidates have to pass a test conducted for the purpose. After passing the test, he/she will be regularised in E-3 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000/- at the initial Basic of Rs. 60,000/- with probation for 1 year, if not extended.
CIL MT Service Agreement Bond
The candidates appointed under the CIL MT recruitment will be required to serve the company for a minimum period of 60 months from the date of joining the company. The candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond of INR 3,00,000 (Rupees Three Lakhs) plus GST as applicable for the same at the time of joining the company.

The Computer-Based Test for CIL MT Recruitment is an objective-type exam that comprises two papers for 100 marks each. The details of the exam pattern are given below.
