CBI Apprentice Educational Qualification
The Central Bank of India has prescribed the education qualification to be eligible to appear for the Central Bank Apprentice Recruitment Examination, which is mentioned in detail below:
- The candidate must have completed a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Candidates should have completed and have passing certificate for their graduation after 1.01.2021.
Local Language Qualification
The candidate should be proficient in the local language. Candidates will be required to produce a certificate of VIII/X/XII or Graduate level having studied local language as one of his/her subjects.

Physical/ Medical Fitness
Engagement of Apprentices will be subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Central Bank of India. The engagement of selected candidates will be subject to their being declared medically fit by a duly qualified medical practitioner engaged by the Bank or subject to production of medical certification from MBBS Doctors or both as per the discretion of the Bank.
Nationality
The Central Bank of India will recruit the candidates for the Apprentice having the following nationality which is mentioned below. A candidate must be either
- A Citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Number of Attempts
The candidates can apply for the Central Bank Apprentice job profile until they reach the maximum age limit as set by the CBI. The candidate must also fulfill all the other Central Bank Apprentice Eligibility criteria.
Experience
As per the notification issued by the Central Bank Apprentice, the candidates applying for the post are not required to have any prior experience. Freshers are also eligible to apply for the Central Bank Apprentice post.

Annual Package for the Central Bank Apprentice Post
The candidate must clear all the following phases i.e. an Online Written Exam, Interview, and Document Verification Round to get recruited for the post of Central Bank Apprentice. The candidates will receive a basic pay of Rs. 15,000/- per month and Allowance.

Note:
- Diem Allowance will be paid in case the apprentice is made to travel for the official purpose as per the table given above.
- For the above purpose, the apprentice shall be entitled to travel by Sleeper class by train while traveling on duty. For this purpose the actual cost of fare incurred for the shortest route will be reimbursed. For travel by road the actual cost incurred on Public Transport will be reimbursed.

Central Bank Apprentice Additional Perks and Allowances
The employees of the Central Bank Apprentice will receive various entitlements and benefits during their working tenure. The benefits which are provided to the employees of the Central Bank Apprentice are:
- Medical Allowance

- Other allowances, if applicable.
Central Bank Apprentice In-Hand Salary
The candidates will receive the basic Central Bank Apprentice Salary of Rs. 15,000 per month along with Diem Allowance. The salary of the Apprentice is fixed during this period.

Central Bank Apprentice Duration Period
The Central Bank of India (CBI) has mentioned the duration period in the official notification released for the post of Apprentice. During the engagement period of one year, the candidates are examined based on their performance and if they don’t perform well they can be terminated from their Apprentice Job.
