BSSTET Exam Details 2026

The Bihar Education Department decides the BSSTET salary 2025 based on the pay scale, benefits, perks, and other allowances. The annual salary for this position will be announced soon.

Every new employee of the organization will receive a pay slip each month. The salary slip contains information such as basic pay, gross salary, net salary, deductions, allowances, and so on. According to the Bihar Education Department rules, employees are given their in-hand salary. After qualifying for the exam, the shortlisted individuals would be selected by various government schools in Bihar, where they will be paid the salary as per the 7th pay commission.

Depending on the requirements of their work, each applicant selected for the BSSTET post will also get additional remuneration in addition to the basic pay, including the following:

A candidate seeking admission to the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test must have attained the minimum age of 18 years, and the maximum age limit for male candidates will be 37 years, whereas for female candidates, it will be 40 years. As per the official notification, the upper age limit will be relaxed for reserved category candidates as per the government rules, which are detailed below:

A candidate must be a citizen of India and a resident of Bihar to be eligible to apply for the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test.

The Bihar Education Department has not released any limit on the number of attempts to appear in the BSSTET recruitment. Candidates can apply until they cross their maximum age limit as per the category and other eligibility conditions.
