As per the General Administration Department, Bihar Resolution No. 15568 dated 21.08.2025, the examination fee for each candidate is Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). In addition to the examination fee, candidates will also have to pay bank charges as prescribed by the concerned bank, which will be automatically deducted by the bank during the online payment process.

Note: Candidates who do not mention their Aadhaar number as an identity document while submitting the online application will be required to pay an additional Biometric Fee of ₹200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only).

Stage 1 – Preliminary Exam

The Preliminary examination is the first stage for the BPSC Auditor selection process. The Preliminary Examination of the BPSC Auditor consists of just one paper. All the questions for the preliminary examination are objective type. The objective questions are multiple-choice in nature. The total marks of the exam are 150 and the total duration of examination is 2 hrs.

Stage 2 – Mains exam

Mains examination is the next stage of the selection process. This Mains exam consists of 3 compulsory papers (with given subjects which are General Hindi, General Studies 1 and General studies 2) and for the last paper, the candidate can select the preferred subject. All the questions for the BPSC Auditor Main Examination will be descriptive. Every paper is for a duration of 3 hours each with the General Hindi paper carrying 100 marks and others carrying 300 marks each.

Stage 3 – Interview

The final stage of the BPSC Auditor Selection Process is the interview process. The interview is conducted for a total of 120 marks.

All candidates will be required to fulfill the official eligibility criteria as specified in the BPSC Auditor notification. The eligibility criteria for BPSC Auditor 2026 exam includes the following conditions –

Candidates must have a graduation degree in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics from a recognized university.
The age limit is 21 to 37 years as on August 1, 2026. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for BC/OBC candidates.
