These components collectively form the total earnings of a candidate. From this gross amount, standard deductions like provident fund, professional tax, and other statutory contributions are subtracted to arrive at the final in-hand salary received by the employee.

Typically, the starting in-hand salary of an APSSB CSLE Constable falls between INR 33,136 - 33,755 per month, while that of a Fireman falls between INR 33,443 - 39,761/- per month. The in-hand salary can go up to INR 69,100/- after annual increments. This includes the components of Basic Pay plus allowances. In addition to the basic pay, an APSSB CSLE is eligible for additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other government-mandated benefits. Thus, it can be concluded that an APSSB CSLE is entitled to receive an annual salary package worth INR 4.2 - 5 lakhs per year.
